Ingrid Michaelson, quizá no os suene mucho su nombre pero lo cierto es que la ya veterana (5 trabajos) ha sonado en muchos sitios, quien no se acuerda de ese Be OK que escuchamos con Telefónica o con Opel hace unos años, tambien en su pais, como el spot de Cola cola de este año en EEUU.

SIn olvidarnos de las series, varias canciones de estadounidense han sonado en Anatomia de grey, y alguna en alguna pelicula.

Bueno, aunque su último disco Human Again es del año pasado y merecería alguna entrada, hoy toca You and I (suya, nada de cover de Wilco) que pertenece a ese disco del 2008 Be OK que tan bien suena.

Charlene Soraia - Wherever you will go

Vamos ya con el domingo con esta maravillosa versión de la que no me desengancho, hace un  de años, a la joven inglesa Charlene Soraia se le ocurrió versionar el clásico de The Calling Wherever you will go.

Fue el primer single de su disco debut, Moonchild (2011) que no llegó tan alto como este tema pero que no está nada mal para una debutante. Este año, hace apenas un mes sacó su segundo album Love Is The Law.

Ben Howard - Keep Your Head Up

Ben Howard se pasó el otro día por Madrid para presentar, dentro del mes de Los veranos de la villa que hace todos los años la capital, su primer y de momento único disco Every Kingdom (2011) si bien es cierto que ya iba avisando de lo que era capaz en sus tres EP's anteriores. Además, tras el album presentó dos EP's más, Ben Howard Live (2011) y The Burgh Island (2013).

Hace unos meses comentaba en una entrevista que su nuevo album puede tomar una 'rara dirección' y que se podría esperar para principios del 2014. Casi nada.

Os dejo con Keep Your Head Up su canción estrella. Por cierto que en el concierto ya avisó de que le gustaba Madrid y esperaba volver para presentar su nuevo trabajo. Pero habrá que esperar para ello. Buen sábado!
